Leanys considers herself a lifetime resident of the Florida Keys as she moved to Marathon when she was just five years old from Nicaragua. She has resided in Marathon for 23 years, attended school here in the Keys, then continued her education at Florida Keys Community College.

She later met the “fisherman” of her dreams and has 2 beautiful little girls, both born in Key West. Being an avid fisherwoman and certified Scuba Diver, she opened her own lifestyle retail store in Marathon called “The Anglers Closet”, allowing her to be a part of her passion while not on the water. Becoming a Real Estate Agent was a long-time goal of Leanys as she wanted to help people to find their own piece of paradise here in The Florida Keys.

With her lifelong love for The Florida Keys, this beautiful community has a special place in her heart.
