About Melany Menendez

Melany is a long-time native of the Florida Keys as her family moved to the Keys from Cuba when she was 12 years old. She attended Marathon Middle and High School, where she learned the importance of community in the Florida Keys. Following high school, Melany left Marathon to move to mainland Florida for about a year and a half and came back home afterward, further convincing her that this is where her heart is. She loves the uniqueness of the Keys and all of the joys that island living brings.

 

Marathon is where she and her boyfriend have started their lives together; they share a French Bulldog, Boosie, who is their world, and they enjoy weekends out on the water as much as possible. They are always looking for new adventures; they love to go snorkeling, fishing, camping, ride their bikes through the Everglades, and even sky diving! They keep busy and take their dog everywhere they go (except for skydiving) and try to enjoy the beautiful Florida Keys sunsets after work on the speed boat as much as possible. After working in the insurance industry for 5 years, Melany decided to dive into a new career path in the real estate world. She is truly thrilled about this opportunity and looks forward to seeing what the future holds.
